Endurance: The installation process often involves working on your hands and knees for extended periods. You must possess the stamina and flexibility to prep the old floor and accurate lay the flooring.
Measuring Skills: A crucial aspect of any flooring installation is accurately measuring the room. You need to know how to use an imperial/metric measuring tape to determine the room's dimensions and calculate the required amount of flooring material.
Fractional Math Skills: You must be proficient in adding and multiplying fractions of an inch to ensure the correct quantity of material is purchased and for precise measurements when cutting and laying the flooring.
