Our company is tops in service and has won several awards for congeniality, service, and amenities. Each bus is staffed with two drivers, which allows low hours for each driver and is the reason for our perfect safety record. Each bus is also staffed with two hosts, fluent in the local dialects and experts on the local history, trivia, and idiosyncrasies. You will find that having two hosts per bus can make the difference between a confusing, unorganized trip and a well organized, relaxing tour. Mansions and Castles Have you ever dreamed of living in a castle? Do you read about mansions and the people that live in them? This tour is just for you. Travel through the countryside and visit two castles and three mansions on this tour of architecture and history. This five-day tour leaves on the first Wednesday of each month. What will you see? You will visit the Castle Tonreynad, Hill City mansion, Redinger’s mansion, the Cartminn Castle, and the Coral mansion. At each of these locations, you will have a guided tour of the insides and grounds. At Redinger’s mansion, you will have the opportunity for a horseback ride through the grounds or a boat ride on the lake. The Cartminn Castle includes full access to the spa facilities, including mud baths and hot springs. Where will you eat? At least one meal is planned at each location, with a grand dinner every evening in the most lavish dining rooms ever created. Other gourmet delights planned are picnics, a wine tasting at Redinger’s mansion, and a huge breakfast buffet at the Coral mansion. Please note that special meals are not available on this tour. Where will you stay? Each night is spent in a different mansion or castle, with Hill City mansion being the exception. On Thursday, we will stop at Hill City mansion for lunch, a tour, and a visit with their emus before traveling to Redinger’s mansion for the evening. At each location, all amenities are provided, including 24 hour concierge and room service. Average travel time per day is three hours. Florida Beaches If your idea of a vacation is fun, sun, sand, and the ocean, this tour is for you! Fly to Florida early Monday morning and be on the beach by the afternoon. The bus will meet you there and take you to five different beaches, each one with its own personality. There will be plenty of time in the sun each day, as all traveling is done in the late afternoon and early evening. If it rains, there are plenty of options at each location, including outlet mall shopping, museums, and huge indoor arcades. This seven-day tour leaves on the last Monday of each month. What will you see? You will visit Sunport beach, Juvie beach, Grande Faire beach, Weeder beach, and Turtle beach. At each beach, you will be provided two large towels and your choice of a cabana or lounge chair. One of our hosts will be there on the beach with you at all times, with a large cooler of beverages and a variety of sunscreen. At Grande Faire beach, you will have the opportunity to participate in a renaissance show. Where will you eat? All meals are planned and provided. At Juvie beach, dinner is just a part of an evening Polynesian show on the beach. At Grande Faire beach, dinner is during a renaissance show, including jousting. Weeder beach has the most romantic setting of small tables on the beach. Lunches are picnic-style gourmet feasts with wine, cheese, fruit, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Where will you stay? Each night is spent at a different resort, in oceanfront rooms. The amenities at each resort are available to all guests and include spas, salons, golf, boutiques, afternoon tea, pier fishing, scuba diving, concierge service, horseback riding, tennis, racquetball, and whirlpools. Average travel time per day is two hours. Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam The glitz of Las Vegas and the grandeur of the Hoover dam await you in this tour. Fly to Las Vegas early Thursday morning and be in the casinos by noon. On Saturday, the bus will meet you in Las Vegas and take you to the Hoover dam. There you will see both sides of the dam and take a tour inside the dam. This four-day tour leaves on the second Thursday of each month. What will you see? Las Vegas not only has slot machines and gaming tables galore, but each hotel is a center of entertainment. Shows are planned for each evening, as this city never closes! At the Hoover dam, you will have many photo opportunities. Where will you eat? All dinners are planned, lunches are not except during the tour to the Hoover dam. Thursday evening’s dinner is during a renaissance jousting show, and Saturday evening’s dinner is a catered affair at the famous Pomegranate Palace. Breakfasts are provided, continental style, and delivered to your room each morning. Where will you stay? Our stay in Las Vegas will begin at the Fabulous Fountain Hotel, where we will stay Thursday night. This hotel is on the outskirts of the famous downtown area, and boasts a twelve-acre outdoor garden of fountains. Our stay will include a tram tour of the fountains. On Friday and Saturday nights we will stay at the Green Gecko, an enormous building in the shape of a lizard. The Green Gecko is in the heart of the downtown area, close to all the other major hotels. New England Highlights This tour is just full of orchards, maple sugar houses, arts and crafts, bed and breakfasts, and river views. Travel through the valleys and visit an apple orchard, two maple sugar houses, three towns with quaint downtown shopping, a mountain resort, and a maritime museum. This five-day tour leaves on the third Wednesday of each month. What will you see? New England has many photo opportunities, so this is a good tour for photographers. At the apple orchard we will have the opportunity to pick apples and watch apple cider being pressed in wooden presses. At the maple sugar houses, depending on the season, we can watch the maple sugar being produced from maple tree sap. During our visits to the towns of Leedenville, Towleboro, and Dewhampton, we can stroll on the town commons and shop in the local artisan shops. The tour includes a visit to the North Brewton Tall Ship Museum. Where will you eat? All meals are planned, as our tour visits many different places. Thursday evening’s dinner is a clambake on Brewton beach, and Friday evening’s dinner is colonial style at the oldest inn in New Hampshire. Enjoy a hot dog at Nick’s Nest for lunch Wednesday, and lunch on Sunday is at the oldest diner in Massachusetts. Where will you stay? Every night on this tour is at a different bed and breakfast or inn. Most of these accommodations are historical, and we will learn the history of each place. Breakfast is family style at the bed and breakfasts, and continental at the inns.
